School Hours

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Fridays:
7:30 a.m. - 2:20 p.m.
Students may enter the building at 7 a.m.

Wednesdays:
8:30 a.m. - 2:20 p.m.
Students may enter the building at 8 a.m.

Arrival & Dismissal Information

Car Riders - Arrival

Car riders are dropped off in the front of the building. Our car line splits into 2 lines.
Students need to be ready to get out of the car as soon as you pull into the parking lot.
We unload 10-12 cars at a time. Student need to get out of the car when we wave them out. DO NOT wait until all the way in front of the door.
When leaving the parking lot, you must turn RIGHT. You may NOT turn left.

Car Riders - Dismissal

Car riders get picked up in the front of the building. Our car line splits into 2 lines.
Students are responsible for looking for their car as we do not call car numbers or have car tags.
Duty teachers help students watch for the cars and stop the car line to fill 10-12 cars at a time.
When leaving the parking lot, you must turn RIGHT. You may NOT turn left.

Student Meals Information

Breakfast

School Breakfast is $2.10 and will be served between 7:00 a.m. and 7:25 a.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, and between 8:00 a.m. - 8:25 a.m. on Late Start Wednesdays.

Lunch

School lunch is $3.20. There are À la carte snacks available daily at an additional cost.

If you drop off lunch, please bring lunch for your child only. We are not allowing anyone to stay and eat with students inside the building due to time, space and safety.

DoorDash, Uber Eats, Etc.

We respectfully ask parents to partner with us in protecting our learning environment during school hours and not use food deliveries. We cannot be responsible if food is left outside of our front door, if the delivery driver doesn’t know the name of the student who is supposed to get the delivery or if the food does not arrive on time during our lunch period.

Payment

Parents can add money to their child's lunch account through the Parent Portal of Infinite Campus. Students can also pay with cash.

Weekly Newsletter

Each week, Mrs. Verble sends out a newsletter to our DCIS families letting them know about important updates, special events, and other helpful information. If you are not currently receiving these emails and would like to, please contact our school office.

Backpacks & Totes

All students need to either bring a backpack or a tote with them to school. We are not using lockers at this time.
